Sultan Abdul Samad Building

The iconic Sultan Abdul Samad building is locate in front of Royal Selangor Club and Dataran Merdeka along with the Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman.

It was establish in 1897 by A.C. Norman. During the time of the British administration in Malaya, it was used to house several government departments.

Today, this historical building is one of the Supreme and High Courts. Not only that, this building is design with the unique Moorish designs. The clock tower is widely photographed by visitors to the city centre. The important occasions which is the building is decorated with colourful lights and flags. However, the historic Dataran Merdeka, where the Union Flag was lowered and the Malayan flag elevate for the first time on 31 August 1957. It is also across the street from the Sultan Abdul Samad building.

Batu Caves

Batu Caves is one of the Kuala Lumpur’s most frequented tourist attractions, is a limestone hill include three major caves and a number of smaller ones. Besides, it locate approximately 11 kilometres to the north of Kuala Lumpur. Moreover, this 100-year-old temple features idols and statues erected inside the main caves and around it. Not only that, it’s incorporated with the interior limestone formations and said to be around 400 million years old. Thus, this temple is considered an important religious landmark by Hindus.

Taman Negara

You can’t go to Taman Negara and not trek into the depths of the jungle. During the day you can see rare jungle flowers and take amazing photos at the base of 40m tall trees with gargantuan banyan buttressed roots. Also keep your eyes peeled for sightings of the gorgeous pitcher plant species. There are various trails to choose from, all for different levels of ability. For the more adventurous, check out the 53km long distance trail from Kuala Tahan to Gunung Tahan. It takes seven days and six nights and is one of the most challenging trails and seldom explored in the park.

Taman Negara’s canopy walkway is arguably one of the longest in the world at 530m and is 40m above the ground. The dense canopy is home to a myriad of bird species and arboreal animals that have formed complex ecosystems at such altitude. It is also common to see certain trees towering above the walkway and these giants are estimated to by thousands of years old. Interestingly, the walkway was initially built for research purposes, but is now the most common attraction at the park and can be reached by boat or trekking, just 1.2km from Park HQ.

The Gardens Mall which located in Kuala Lumpur is not your typical, two-story atrium with moderately priced clothing and with different kind of restaurants. For example, Japan cuisine, Korea cuisine, western food and so forth. Rather this Klang Valley staple is the perfect example of how understated and elegant some malls can be. It start operate in 2007, it has a façade of classic-brown panelled walls and faux greenery. Inside its noticeable design features include solid colours and sleek, straight lines with sharp corners, with few accent fixtures, resulting in a clean and open look

The lower grounds floor of The Gardens Mall is special to a rather sprawling food court where all of you can enjoy the local specialties. It is really the best place to indulge where surrounding by different kind of restaurant. One of my favourite restaurant was Canton-i which specialist of Chinese and Asian cuisine. However, we can also enjoy japan cuisine( Sou Omakase Dining) in the ground floor which specialist in many different kind of fresh sushi. I am sure that the restaurant in the mall will entice all of you.

This is the best place to people that allow them to watch people come and go between Mid Valley Megamall and The Gardens Mall. For the movie enthusiasts, they can also have their movie in fifth floor’s ( Golden Screen Cinema) . This is only the boutique cinema in Malaysia with seven halls. However, two of the halls are gold class. The up floor is Vertigo. There are also with the city’s most prevalent dance clubs and rooftop bars. For example, Redbox, etc.
